Kaptogolo falls
Kaptogolo falls is the main falls which is located at the lower side of sipi valley, you pass through the community trails and connect to the bottom of falls which has a huge big plung pool where you can swimming and also have a natural shower but sometimes if the weather is perfect people can enjoy rainbow viewing, chill in the rocks and sometimes it’s also for the couples to stay around there because it’s refreshing all the time. The volcanic rocks at the bottom falls gives you a chance to seat on it which makes every moment of your adventure counts and this is where main activity of abseiling is done from.
Chekwui waterfalls
This falls is the smallest amongst three waterfalls with a height of 65meters and its considered to be one of the most romantic, many guest like this falls because it’s easier to hike both to the top and to the bottom .this waterfalls is covered by small mini forest making it a habitant to many bird species and insects, this falls has and artificial man made cave meaning you can have both behind and front view of falls. Chepkwui waterfalls flows in three ways from big, medium and small and in this point you will have a natural shower by walking near a small one.
Chepkoch waterfalls
Chepkoch water falls is the second highest in sipi with a height of 85m from the top to the bottom .this water falls is considered to be the easiest falls to hike compared to kaptogolo and Chepbukoch, this is because it favors tourists who are old does not want to hike for a long distance because the road goes nearly to the bottom of it. This waterfalls is unique in such a way that it has a natural bridge whereby waterfalls passes underground the rocks for approximately 200-700m it sprinkles from a distance making it a wonderful God’s creature.

Hiking
Areas around Sipi falls are the starting points to hike Mt. Elgon. One of the routes through Sasa trail starts in Budadiri and follows to the summit. At the summit, one can have scenic views of landscapes that range from the Karamoja plains, coffee plantations to Lake Kyoga and other areas.
Bird watching
Uganda is one the best birding destinations in the world. The Mount Elgon area has over 274 species which is more than that recorded in 2 of Uganda’s largest national park Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls. Birding tours can be arranged within the Sipi area or as a starting point for a more complete birding experience in the Mount Elgon National Park.
Cultural walk and visits
Two local tribes live in the area around Sipi, the Bagisu, and Sabiny. The Bagusi (boys) and Sabiny (girls) youths are usually initiated into adulthood through cultural initiation processes that concludes with circumcision. Forced female circumcision among the Sabiny was common only 2 decades ago but due to intense campaigns against the practice by female activists, the practice is virtually eliminated.
Abseiling
This is a thrilling activity undertaken at the main waterfall and would be good to combine with the hike. It involves sliding 100m down on a rope right next to the waterfall, down into the pool. This is ideal for the adrenaline junkies. The Abseiling or rappelling activity takes place at Sipi falls and offers an adrenaline feel that is two hours in length. You will sail down the rope under controlled conditions. The equipment used is simple and includes belts and ropes which are drilled into rocks.
Sipi coffee experience
Coffee growing is one of the main economic activities along the slopes of Mountain Elgon and this is evident at Sipi, where coffee plants can be observed throughout the community. Here the communities, majorly the Bagisu and Sabiny organize coffee experiences whereby you are followed through the process of growing coffee, harvesting and processing locally it to the final product ready for consumption.
