Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer To Gulu
Depending on your location, you will meet the safari guide who will brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Gulu. While on the journey, you will have lunch en route, and on arrival, you will check into your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer To Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. The journey takes 3 to 4 hours, and while on the way, you will have scenic views of hills that separate the lands of Acholi and Karamoja.
On arrival, you will have lunch and afterwards proceed to the park for a game drive in the Narus Valley. After the game drive, you will head to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Game Drive In The Narus Valley
After morning breakfast, you will head to the Narus Valley for a morning game drive. The valley is renowned for mammals such as antelopes, zebras, buffalo, elephants and bird species. The valley is a permanent source of water.
After the game drive, you will have lunch and later return to the valley for another game drive. After the afternoon game drive, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Game Drive In Narus And Kanangorok Hot Spring Visit
After morning breakfast, you will head to the Narus Valley for a morning game drive. The national park has amazing observation points with binoculars, and one will be happy to use them and observe many animals within the park. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will visit Kanangorok hot springs, and you will spot ostriches within the region, although they are threatened by poaching by the South Sudanese. After the visit, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer To Murchison Falls National Park
After having breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Murchison Falls National Park with lunch en route. On arrival, you will visit the top of the falls and afterwards head to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Game Drive And Boat Cruise
After enjoying morning breakfast, you will head to Paraa to catch a morning ferry and head for a game drive where you will encounter many animals, including the Big Five. After the game drive, you will head to the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you will head for a boat cruise at the bottom of the falls. While on the boat cruise, you will spot various birds and giant crocodiles, as well as wildlife that comes along to drink water. After the boat cruise, you can hike to the top of the falls, and after, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer Back To Kampala
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino trekking. After the trek, you will proceed to Kampala. On arrival, you will be dropped off at Entebbe airport for your flight back home or any place of your choice.
